I was born and raised in Winston County, Alabama and graduated from Winston
County High School.
I graduated from Samford University in 1986 and from Cumberland School of Law
in 1989.
A former city judge and prosecutor, I have practiced law since 1990 and am a
member of the Alabama State Bar Association.
Active in local civic events, I am a member of the Double Springs Civitan Club, the
Double Springs Study Club, the First Baptist Church of Double Springs and am
currently on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Federated Women's Club.
I have been involved in the development of several subdivisions on beautiful Smith
Lake and have vast experience in drafting Limited Liability Companies and
Covenants for Home Owner's associations, handling real estate closings for both
individuals and corporations, and providing legal counsel for several businesses
and corporations in Winston County.
I have been an authorized title Insurance Agent for Commonwealth-Landamerica
for 10 years.
I am committed to my clients and strive to treat my clients in the same manner
that I would like to be treated. I understand that each circumstance is unique and
important to that individual client and I strive to do my best in representing each
individual to the best of my ability.
